Non-DICOM data and special services

Many legacy PACS offer proprietary features for image annotation, reports, voice clips or scanned documents that are not implemented in DICOM standards and cannot be retrieved from the legacy PACS through DICOM interfaces. Similarly, many new PACS have such features, but only support their import through proprietary interfaces. Whenever possible, Laitek will employ DICOM or HL7 standards to move such data to the new PACS. But whatever the format, Laitek provides the "glue" to move non-DICOM legacy data into new PACS systems. Costs for special requirements can be quoted separately or bundled into the migration project.
